Hearts Restoring Hope

Supporting the welfare of children across South Africa

One Heart
at a Time

Education cannot take root where hunger persists. The Hearts Restoring Hope Fund confronts both challenges together by mobilising capital to strengthen and scale trusted foundations supporting vulnerable children across South African classrooms. Through consistent funding of proven food-relief and child-centred programmes, together we can nurture the conditions that allow education, development, and minds to grow.

A hungry child cannot learn, grow, or dream

In South Africa, nearly one in four children live in severe food poverty, arriving at school hungry, unable to focus, unable to dream. A classroom should be a child's safest place: somewhere to engage, to persist, to imagine a future worth reaching for. We believe nourishment and education are inseparable. Through funding and meaningful collaboration, we partner with trusted on-the-ground organisations to deliver nutritional aid and essential school supplies to the classrooms that need them most. Hope in a young child is foundational, it shapes how they learn, how they behave, and how boldly they dare. With your support, we are restoring that hope, one classroom at a time.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDERS

TAMMY & TYLEI CAMERON

"As a South African mother, my sense of duty to our country has never left me. Though my home today is shared between the UK and South Africa, my roots and my sense of duty remain firmly grounded in South Africa. My role within HRH is to mobilise capital and global support, leveraging my networks to raise awareness beyond borders and direct resources toward the community organisations already doing vital work on the ground, yet remain chronically underfunded and unseen."

" Life has been generous with me. My career has taken me across borders, opened doors, and placed me in rooms where resources and influence intersect. With that came an immediate desire to turn that access into something meaningful. To transform gratitude into purpose, and privilege into protection for those who need it most. I have a clear focus to bring charity to the frontline of social life in South Africa. By making charitable action more visible and culturally relevant. When generosity becomes part of our social fabric, real change follows, especially for children whose futures depend on the choices we make today. "
